Rep. Levin Introduces Resolution Recognizing National Assistant Principals Week
Congressman Andy Levin (MI-09), vice chair of the House Education and Labor Committee, and Congressman David Trone (MD-06) introduced a resolution recognizing this week as National Assistant Principals week to honor the work done by committed assistant principals, especially during this time of tremendous challenges in education.
“Just yesterday, I spoke with Michigan State Superintendent Michael Rice about the unprecedented challenged faced by educators, administrators and staff during the COVID-19 crisis,” Rep. Andy Levin said. “Among the personnel doing invaluable work are assistant principals, who often perform the messy but important triage of duties when unforeseen problems occur. This week, we celebrate assistant principals as we express our gratitude toward all education professionals for their continued support for our students.”
